The teardrop mold keeps enough mass toward the top of the frame to give returns depth without me having to add wrist, so bandejas and cross-court lobs travel with a natural, arcing trajectory rather than squirting flat. On defensive voleas below the waist, the frame stays composed and does not kick the ball long, which is a common failure of stiffer teardrops in this zone. Doble pared reads are forgiving thanks to the soft face, and I found I could take a half-step later than usual and still recover a clean contact.

Volleys & Net Play
At the net the Neuron 02 Cloud rewards technique. Block voleas come off with a quiet, muted feel that makes short-angle finishing very predictable, and the frame's torsional stability from the Prism Lock reinforcement keeps the face square when I punch a firm volea into the corner. What it will not do is do the work for you. If you are used to popping voleas off a diamond, the response here feels slower and more deliberate, and you have to commit to a real swing on the offensive volea rather than expecting free depth. On the víbora played from the net band and on drop voleas into the T, the softness helps enormously, giving a touch response you can trust for a dejada.

Overheads & Smashes
This is the honest weakness of the frame, and the design does not hide it. The smash lacks explosive punch. Even hitting cleanly with a full shoulder turn, the ball comes off with a controlled, medium exit rather than the flat, terminal pace a diamond or hybrid attacker would generate. The 3D Grain embossed surface is a structural relief rather than a painted grit, so the bite on top-spin drives and on sliced chiquitas holds up over sessions in a way that sand finishes rarely do. Combined with the soft core, which lets the ball sit on the face fractionally longer, I could shape genuinely heavy top-spin salidas de pared and get real dip on offensive lobs. Touch is the other strength here. Dejadas, angled voleas and short balls into the T come off with a soft, readable feedback that gives you real confidence to attempt low-margin plays under pressure.

Ergonomics and Technologies
This is where the Cloud variant justifies its name. The combination of Cloud EVA (also referenced as New Blue SoftEva in Bullpadel's own materials), Ease Vibe dampening and the Hesacore grip layer stacks three separate comfort systems into one frame, and you feel it. Vibration on off-centre hits is genuinely low, and after a long match the wrist and elbow felt fresher than I expect from a Bullpadel teardrop. The Prism Lock reinforcement is the counter-balance to all that softness, holding the head shape stable on torsional impacts so the frame does not feel spongy. If you have any history of tennis elbow or epicondylitis, this is one of the frames worth trying before writing off Bullpadel as a stiff brand.

The Neuron 02 Cloud 2026 is a specialist tool for an advanced player who has already decided that control, construction and physical longevity matter more than finishing power. It defends beautifully, gives you a workable víbora and bandeja, holds together under torsional stress, and treats your arm as well as almost anything in the Bullpadel range. If your game is built around long defensive rallies, patient positioning and finishing with placement rather than pace, it is one of the more coherent control teardrops on the market. If you want a frame that will end points for you from the smash, look elsewhere in the lineup.
