The Padel Insider

Nox was founded in 2009 in Barcelona, Spain, and built its reputation through partnerships with tour-level players from early in the brand's life. Miguel Lamperti was among the first professionals to use Nox rackets, in 2010, and the brand became the official racket sponsor of the World Padel Tour from 2019 through 2024. It now partners with Premier Padel. The brand sells over 400,000 rackets annually across more than 80 countries.

The current lineup is organized around player signatures at the top. The AT10 Luxury Genius series carries Agustin Tapia's name and runs in 18K Alum, 12K Alum Xtrem, Attack, and Lite variants. The ML10 Ventus Control 3K is Miguel Lamperti's round-shape control model. The EA10 Ventus covers Edu Alonso's Hybrid and Attack models, also available in a Lite version. The VK10 Ventus Control 12K is Aranzazu Osoro's model. Below the Luxury tier sit the Pro Cup, Classic, Advanced, and Court series, covering intermediate through beginner players.

Nox differentiates its top models through the grade and type of aluminized carbon on the face: 12K Alum Xtrem for a stiffer, more direct feel and 18K Alum for a more elastic, comfortable response. Core options range from high-density HR3 Black EVA for power and rebound to the multilayered MLD Black EVA in the AT10 18K for variable density across shot speeds. Surface texturing via Dual Spin and frame technologies including DCS, EOS Tunnel perforations, and the Pulse vibration-damping system are applied across the professional range.

Padel Racket Face Materials, Translated

Spec sheets throw fiberglass, 3K, 12K, 18K carbon, Fibrix, TeXtreme, Carbon Aluminized 16K, Graphene 360, and Glaphite at you as if each were a distinct material. They are not. There are two real face polymers, one dominant grade axis, a small set of surface treatments, and a lot of brand vocabulary. Here is what actually differs between padel racket faces, what is a wrapper on the same thing, and what any of it changes once the ball hits the string bed you do not have.

Technologies

Core Foam

MLD Black EVA

Multilayer black EVA foam combining zones of different densities within a single core. Blends control, power, and vibration management across the hitting zone.

HR3 Hard EVA

High-density EVA used in the AT10 attack line. Firm feel with fast ball exit, suited to players who generate their own pace on smashes and overhead finishes.

HR3 Soft EVA

Lower-density HR3 EVA used in comfort and control-oriented models. Larger sweet spot and better vibration absorption at some cost to exit speed.

Surface

Dual Spin

Combined 3D hexagonal relief and silica sand finish across the face. The structural pattern and abrasive coating work together to maximize ball grip for spin shots.

Frame

EOS Flap

Aerodynamic flap integrated at the frame perimeter that channels airflow during the swing to improve racket-head speed without requiring additional force.

Handle

Pulse System

Vibration-dampening insert in the handle that absorbs impact shock and reduces transmission into the wrist and elbow on hard contact.

Other

Weight Balance System

Adjustable weighting system on the 2026 AT10 series. Lets players shift between a head-heavy setup for power or a more neutral balance for control and maneuverability.
