The Wilson Endure LS V1 is a round, handle-heavy control racket, the lightest and most maneuverable frame in the Endure line. At 355g, with a balance of around 255mm and a declared RA of 30, every spec choice points the same way: toward an intermediate player who operates from the right side or the fondo, constructs points through placement and defensive depth, and does not need the racket to produce overhead power. The face is a carbon/fiberglass hybrid with an ExactTouch rough-woven finish; the core is soft dual-density Control Foam+. It is a comfort-and-control tool, honest about what it trades away.

How it plays

At the net, the LS is quick and forgiving. On volleys and chiquitas, the soft Control Foam+ extends contact time: the ball seats into the face and you have a fraction longer to shape the placement. The large, centered sweet spot means contacts that would cost you a point on a smaller frame still go where you intended. On the bandeja, the ExactTouch surface provides enough bite to drop the ball short after the pared and generate modest cut, though players coming from a rougher 12K carbon face will notice the difference in grip.

The víbora gets the same textural benefit, but the lack of head weight limits how much whip a hard wrist-snap can generate. The LS rewards disguise and redirection over acceleration. On smashes, its limits are clear: the soft foam and flexible MultiFlex face absorb rather than amplify energy on full overhead contact. You can direct overheads and exploit pace given to you, but producing finish from scratch is not this racket's job. In defensa, it is at its best. The low balance and 355g let your arm respond quickly to lunged and scrambled balls, and the extended 14cm handle is a genuine advantage in stretched defensive positions, giving real stability when you add the left hand.

The trade-off

The LS makes its deal explicit and does not try to hide it. Everything that makes this racket fast and comfortable at the net is the same thing that limits its power. The RA 30 frame flexes on impact instead of returning energy. The Control Foam+ extends contact time for control, but does not produce a high-rebound spring for power. The round shape and 255mm balance keep swing weight low, which is why your hands are fast at the net but the mass behind the ball on a full-arm overhead is reduced. The MultiFlex face is softer and more absorbing than the 3K carbon face on the Endure Pro, which is precisely why it protects the arm and why it cannot hit as hard. At 355g, it sits at the lighter end of the adult weight range; a player coming from a 370g-plus teardrop will feel the difference on smashes immediately.

One note for buyers comparing to the Nox AT10 12K. The Endure line is sometimes described as feeling harder than the Nox, which sounds contradictory. It is not. What that describes is how the ball seats decisively into the face, a sensation of connection and longer contact rather than greater stiffness. The LS is objectively soft at RA 30. A player coming from the Nox's faster, more surface-level rebound may register this differently, but the spec tells the full story.

Best for

This racket suits the intermediate player on the right side, or the defensive baseliner, who wants an arm-friendly frame that puts the ball in the right place consistently. Players with a history of elbow or shoulder discomfort, players returning from a break who do not yet trust their timing, players good enough to construct points through placement but who do not generate overhead power from technique alone. It is also a strong fit for female players whose physical profile means they gain more from the LS's maneuverability and arm comfort than from the extra mass of a standard adult build.

Avoid it if you play a power-first game from the left side, expect the racket to carry your smash against a lifted ball, or are an advanced player who generates spin and finish through wrist acceleration and needs the racket to amplify it. The LS will feel muted on smashes and underwhelming on offensive exchanges to anyone playing above confident intermediate.
